Pulsar RFID locks installed at Taronga Zoo, Sydney

06 Apr 2020

Located in Sydney harbour is Taronga Zoo’s Institute of Science and Learning. The new institute is the first facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and provides an aesthetically pleasing and functional environment.

The facility has very different uses and incorporates both an office and educational environment so smart, flexible storage solutions were fundamental to the design and functionality of the building. A combination of tambour door units, open bookcases, rolling storage, personal storage lockers and pedestals were used to create areas of work and storage that didn’t compromise the overall look and feel of the building.

The Pulsar RFID lock was selected for use on the personal storage lockers as it offers contactless locking in a sleek design and comes with a wide range of accessories and options to suit the varied and bespoke storage solutions.
